I think I have said enough about black in the last couple of months and with the weather being so infinitely lovely in Jozi (sorry, Cape Town): white, nudes, and dove grey are the perfect colours to brave the heat in.

A versatile blank canvas, the white shirt-dress can be styled in various ways to suit day to night dressing.

Here, I have worn it with a pair of white Air Force 1 Lows: a must have sneaker for spring or summer.

This look is minimalist and clean and really embodies how I like to wear my clothing… laid-back and easy.

Timeless, yet fashionable, investing in a white shirt dress is something you won’t ever regret simply because of how forgiving it is. It's also very feminine and crisp. 

Whether you cinch it in at the waist with a skinny belt to add some shape to its loosely tailored silhouette or accessorize it with heels; the simple white shirt dress can be transformed from something casual (like this look) to something more summer cocktail party ready.
