What it feels like being a woman in the military today; is more challenging, exiting, rewarding and above all, it is incredibly empowering. That’s because the responsibilities are significant, the respect is well-earned and the life-style is liberating. In addition, the chance to push limits personally and professionally is equally measured with men alike.
Since 1948, which congress passed the women armed service integration act, which made the women a permanent  part of the military and opened many jobs to the women rather than the initial stockeep, and administrative functions that was in existence in 1918.

Today, the stereotype are written off as determination, proven capabilities and shared appreciation for work that is driven by hands, skill and adrenaline is the order of the day. Today, more and more females are enlisted in the military positions that use to be traditionally perceived to be as male only positions, such as heavy equipment operators, parachute rigging and flight operation scheduling, pilots, air crew unites …”
Women are now fully on ground to be trained as technicians, electronic technicians, naval reactors, lead security roles, aviation, aviation, structural mechanics, navy divers, builders, naval aviators, aviation, rescue swimmers etc.

Statistics have it that there are over 214,098 women serving on active duty in an array of traditional administrative, medical etc.) , And non-traditional (aviation, combat system etc.) ratings or careers. Like their male counterparts, female sailors and pilots are expected to adhere to regulations specific to appearance, grooming and health and fitness, however some differences exist for example in physical fitness test due to performance and in relation to pregnancy and parenting provisions created to help purport military families.
