Mrs Adaku had been in marriage for over fifteen years and had no biological child of her own. This woman has never been happy for not giving her lovely husband any child. Her love for mankind, her love for her neighbours and people around never changed.
This woman is an
epitome of a good woman who most men make references to and even the children
prays for so that she can bore a child of her own. But nature denied her of
such experience and opportunity.
Adakus
childlessness did not affect her love for making as she shears her food,
clothing, farm lands name it with people around. Everybody in the community
have one good story to tell or to shear about this great woman.
Adaku was on her
way to the farm on the 28th august, 2015 when she heard a loud cry
from a nearby farm close to Iyibom River in Ikwuano Abia state. She dropped
down her basket and rush into the bush to check for the cause of such loud cry.
Adaku discover a woman on labor inside
the farm with little or no experience called out for help and there was none.
So she had to help the inexperience woman (mother) who was having her first
baby on the farm.
Luckily, the
woman gave birth without complications and Aduku took the woman and her child
to a nearby clinic. She rushed to her own home to get some money for her
medications, a flask of hot water, wrappers, clothing's, and other necessities
as directed by the midwives’.
With these items
in a bag, on her way back to the clinic, Adaku was knocked down by a motor
cycle, and in pains, she got up and picked up her bag which contained the items
and gave it to an onlooker to help her take the bag to the Health Center where
the baby and mother was admitted. Some men rushed and held her, to make her still,
so as to be taken with the other accident victims to a nearby hospital, Adaku
collapsed and died instantly. What a brave woman and mother...!!!
What do you
think about this woman?...
