Aid workers have suffered an increase in attacks in South Sudan in recent weeks, with three killed in May since the formation of a unity government, the UN has said, AFP news agency reports.
"Violent incidents - including shooting, ambushes, assaults, harassment and robberies - increased during May," said a statement by the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs (Ocha).
The three aid workers were killed in the Central and Eastern Equatoria regions.
At least 74 aid agency compounds or offices were looted in South Sudan this year, and 29 aid worker vehicles were stopped and robbed, the UN added.
