Niger Delta Avengers threaten to shock the world

The Niger Delta Avengers have threatened to do something that will shock the whole world. In a series of tweets, the militants revealed that they blew up another oil pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Thursday, May 26, which they claimed was heavily guarded by the Nigerian military. The group also blasted the Niger Delta stakeholders over the meetings they held in the region, stating that they want a sovereign state and not pipeline contracts. While explaining how they blew up the pipeline in Warri, the group tweeted: At 11:45pm on Thursday. @NDAvengers blew up other #NNPC Gas and Crude trunkline close to Warri. General — Niger Delta Avengers (@NDAvengers) May 27, 2016 According to Channels TV, spokesman for the Ijaw Youth Council, Eric Omare, says there were two simultaneous attacks on PPMC and NNPC pipelines. “The large gas and crude pipeline that came under attack is located near Warri, Delta State,” it also stated. This incident is coming just days after the militant group said it has bombed the main pipeline supplying gas that provides electricity to the Escravos tank farm in Delta state owned by Chevron. The militants who have renewed their onslaught against oil facilities made this known via its Twitter account, @NDAvengers.
